RFID WRISTBAND

In fact, for these types of bracelets, various types of chips can be used as needed, with the same bracelet model. However, with the selection of the right RFID frequency, the appropriate functions will be obtained, for example, if you want to do tagging quickly, the selection of the UHF type is very appropriate.

Here are some points of difference between HF RFID Wristbands and UHF RFID Wristbands which we detail from several factors as follows:

HF RFID Wristband

  • Has a frequency of 13.56 MHZ

  • Has a close reading distance (attached to the reader up to 5 cm)

  • Has layered security, with a memory capacity of 1 kb

  • It has several international standards such as ISO 15693 for Tracking, ECMA-340 and ISO/IEC 18092 for NFC (Near Field Communication) ISO/IEC 14443 A and ISO/IEC 14443 for Mifare technology.

  • Commonly used for membership cards, payments, ticketing and data transfers.

UHF RFID Wristband

  • Has a frequency of 860 – 960 MHz

  • Has a longer reading distance of 3 to 5 meters

  • Have security by using password block.

  • It has international standard ECP global Class I Gen2 (ISO 18000-6C).

  • Commonly used for asset inventory, asset tracking and stock taking.

  • Has a faster read speed than HF RFID

These two types have different functions and uses according to the needs of the system development that will be carried out, we can help provide the best solution for developing RFID applications with both HF and UHF frequencies.
